How Homecoming Concierge Began

A stone house with multiple windows and a door, surrounded by a white picket fence, green grass, and tall trees under a partly cloudy sky.

Homecoming Concierge started with a simple observation: families who bought a house near Penn State kept coming back to find it needed almost as much attention as their own home — but from three hours away, there was no real way to stay on top of it.

Today that means regular check-ins, coordinating repairs and maintenance, and keeping an eye on the house between visits — so it’s exactly the way you left it every time you’re back in town.

Meet Margaret Kelley, Our Founder

A woman with shoulder-length hair standing in a modern interior, holding a mug, leaning against a wooden console table with folded towels, an open book, and a glass carafe, near a textured wall and a curved glass partition.

Margaret Kelley is a lifelong State College local and the founder of Homecoming Concierge. Before starting the company, she spent years in retail, hospitality, real estate management, and interior design — experience that taught her exactly what it takes to keep a home running smoothly and looking its best. She started Homecoming Concierge to bring that same care to Penn State-area homeowners who can’t always be there themselves.

We check on the house so you don’t have to.

Let’s Talk About Your House

Tell us about the house — a game weekend coming up, a maintenance question, or you’re just ready to hand off the upkeep. We’ll walk you through Membership and Weekends and figure out what fits.
